Occupational Profiles
Those who graduated from the welding technology associate degree program;
Employees in public institutions work in the status specified in the Civil Servants Law No. 657.
The private sector employees work in the metal and machine sector of the companies manufacturing and operating in the factories and laboratories, iron and steel industry, steel construction manufacturing, construction industry, machinery manufacturing, shipyard sector, automotive and automotive subsidiary industries, pipelines, welding machines and consumables and they can work in sales companies.
Graduation Requirements for Welding Technology
To graduate from this associate degree program, students must be:
• Successful in all courses in the program curriculum and at least 120 ECTS credits
• Having 2.5 GPA over 4.00.
• Completion of 30 working days mandatory internship
is required.
